Hollister Medical Marijuana Patient Reviews
Posted March 18, 2011 | |
Rude and not very helpful. What a joke mission statement, "provide California's patients with the best possible service and facility for the use and care of medical cannabis." I am new to medical marijuana and just got my card. I know little to nothing about the clubs and process. I went in to find out some basic information. I was met at the door asking for ID and card, which I supplied. They demanded that I read and fill out their paperwork. Which I really did not understand about joining their "club". Before I sign, I asked some basic questions about cost of joining and other information. Nothing about marijuana. One man in there started to give me the basics. Then a women behind the desk got rude and said I was asking too many questions. She then kicked me out saying she did not need my money. That doesn't sound like they are in business to help provide medical marijuana. I was a supporter of them before and now will recommend to kick them out of Hollister and the area. This type of club will bring down California's laws.

This is the very first club that I went to after getting my card. It is convenient if you live in Hollister or the surrounding areas. The selection of edibles is limited and the cookie that I tried wasn't all that great. The selection of pot is ok, the only thing that I didn't like is that if a jar of pot that is on display is running low they have a drawer with a regular plastic grocery bag, that contains the pot and they refill the jars from that. And when you decide on which strain you are going to buy they sell it directly from the jar. So I don't think the quality of the pot is as good or as fresh as it could be. I encountered two different set of staff each time I went (I've been there twice) The first set were cool, friendly and knowledgeable. The second set was not so friendly and the security who was standing at the door to let me in was very rude and she seemed to try to intimidate me! WTF I was just there to buy some pot not rob the place and I certainly don't look like a threat. Overall if it's 6:30pm on a Saturday night and I need to get some pot I will go there, otherwise I will try to go to a club in San Jose where the pot is fresher, people are nicer and the selection of edibles is better.

Purple Cross RX is fair, honest, and compassionate. they just opened there Hollister site again not too long ago and don't have too wide of a selection yet but it's steadily growing with support from the community who appreciate not having to drive to San Jose. The staff is friendly and attentive. Buy the K's brownies are the best edibles I've ever had.

Purple Cross has some fantastic strains and they are organic I know this for a fact! Try the God-Bud the Ultimate Indica and you will be a very happy patient. The ultimate indicia have a very high c.b.d.. Counts are very high, for example: count for fast and effective pain relief and the prices are more than reasonable. So if you want to travel out of town for lesser quality, be my guest. You can't fix stupid so support your local dispensaries give them a chance! |

Frances L. works for PurpleCross so of course she will talk it up. This place is a joke with super high priced mold, mildew and mites and not to mention they have absolutely zero systems set up to ensure their meds are chemical free. The owner is known for spraying right up to the final week of flowering. Stay away and get your meds from a true organic farmer. Unless you like smoking chemicals at 60 dollars an 8th. |

Not very many options and the prices are outrageous. I'll just drive all the way to Santa Cruz. |

Purple Cross Rx has been a god send for me... The service is A+. I know longer have to travel far to reach a dispensary. |
