A very nice place to get your meds. A nice lounge with coffee and tea and WiFi and feels real comfy. Good place to chill out.

The weed was good, some really exceptional, and nothing that looked second-class. I don't like to recommend a strain, they might be out by the time you get there, but there was some good stuff there. The hashes looked good, and I got some to try. It turned out to be good value for money, but nothing really exceptional. The edibles were OK, but nothing really strong. But for most folks, they'd be great. Check out the powdered drinks. I didn't try them, but I will next time. They got lots of them.

I visited ARC yesterday for the first time as I was looking for a dispensary to replace my previous one. Let me say I only smoke 100% organic as I am not looking to replace harmful prescription drugs with ones laced with herbicides and cancer causing chemicals.

I sent out emails to a number of facilities from SF to San Jose. They were the only one who replied the same day. One other took several days and said nothing beyond "come in".

I found ARC to be extremely professional and courteous. The facility is very nice. When I look at products, besides being organic, I want to know about it's characteristics. I am not always interested in getting as blotto as possible. Often I still need to be highly functional. Hector took a lot of time to explain to me about the product and where it came from. He let me crush a bit to get the full smell; we held it under a magnifier; and he weighed it out in front of me. He also let me combine different varieties to get the higher weight discount, something my previous dispensary did not do. He also gave me a few samples to try out to see if I might be interested in them for the future. I think pricing was fair for organics and I can say without reservation the quality of the indicas is very good.

The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars is that the 100% organic was a bit limited. There were only 3 indicas and no sativas. But a sativa delivery was going to be made later that evening. Since they are barely one month old, I think over time the variety will increase and I would have no hesitation giving them 5 stars, more if I could give it.

Location couldn't be better. Just outside downtown San Jose in a discreet location, which provides a comfortable environment. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You won't find a bunch of burners who looked bummed out to be at work. There is a very home-like atmosphere inside the dispensary, and everything is very clean and well kept (including the medicine!). A very good selection of medicine indeed, and prices are more than reasonable. You won't be charged tax. If you are tired of going from sanctuary to sanctuary, purchasing medicine which is mediocre in quality and high in price, do yourself a favor and check out the ARC!
