San Jose Medical Marijuana Patient Reviews

Coming from the Los Angeles area, I've seen quite a few dispensaries of all calibers, and Harborside is of the highest. Their selection is always fantastic, and the top shelf often contains the most gorgeous buds you'll see anywhere. Their selection of edibles is solid, as is their menu of concentrates. No matter what I get when I go, I'm always happy when I leave. |

I love the Harborside vibe. Always a fantastic selection of quality meds in a very clean and professional setting. Budtenders have always been knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I've been to the SJ and Oakland facilities and they're both the same. |

I go to dispensaries for medical reasons. I don't visit rite-aid expecting them to give me free things, so obviously I don't expect the same from Harborside either. So many people expect a gift, like some processed crappy old junk in a prerolled that won't get you high is the customary "thank you" from clubs. I'm actually happy so many of these people are going to smaller clubs, because as soon as those clubs are shut down because they don't pay taxes, or sell meds with aspergillus (yes thats the mold you can't see and have to test for, it makes your lungs bleed and shortens your breath). I honestly hope all these haters hit up clubs and get this good "cheaper" stuff. I've seen it happen so many times that someone just like you spouts off about how you know so much and how you expect a free J and with every fiber of my being I want to yell at you and say "you are at a medical facility, not trying to score some ganja", but I don't, and the angels behind the counter don't either. They shrug it of, f and despite being crapped all over, they still treat the next person in line with respect. This is why I like harborside. They have cheap budlet eighths and cheap hashes, and they know their stuff (and have a cheat sheet they use when they don't). I'm glad the annoying people don't like this club because honestly it's you people who cause the lines for the rest of us. |

No compassion, high prices, who the hell would by an eighth for sixty five dollars? |

I've been coming here for quite a while now, along with many other collectives in the South Bay. I really like Harborside's selection. Like all collectives, they have their good days and bad days. On some days, you might get there at the perfect time, no line, good selection, and good deals! Like many who have posted here, there are $30 budlets which are a steal. The last budlets I got were the Mango OG budlets and cole's train budlets which are really good! Many days, you might be out of luck getting the deals, however this is understandable. Harborside has a large collective, as reflected by their long lines at times (30% of the time I go there are lines, most of the time there's barely any). |

I really enjoy coming to this collective. Their atmosphere is really great for new patients. They greeted me at the door. All of the staff are really friendly. I will talk about a few points that they are awesome in Their selection is probably one of the best I've seen in the Bay Area. They have midgrades for $45, high grades for $50-$55, and top shelves which are $60. Their Mango OG is one of my favorites and comes back every now and then. I also picked up a $15 Blue Dream Bubble Hash which is a great price! Their prices are reasonable and very easy to work with. Occasionally they have $30/eighth budlets and $40 Mega Mixes which are super for those looking for cheaper variety. Their location is probably one of the best locations, as it is away from schools, residences, and community groups. It is easily accessible from the 680, 880, and the 101. It is a little hard to find, just look for the signs! Otherwise, great location! They offer a 99 clone per day clone limit! With usually 5-6 strains a day! You can check their twitter for an updated clone list, so this is very convenient if your looking for a specific strain! They offer free acupuncture and free chiropractics! Can't go wrong with that! Their security is on point and makes me feel safe coming into this place. They are there to make us feel secure. |

Was expecting the best from the harbor, as I used to go to the Oakland location. However, the SJ location seems like it's on the right track. I was disappointed they didn't have the thc percentages up on most buds, because that's one of the main reasons I love to go here. They could be lagging. Also, it seems like they don't care about the patients. Big business gives nothing back except a little membership card for each time I come back?? No first time freebies? But, all in all the top shelfs are bomb but pricey, same pretty much anywhere else. I swooped an 1/8 of blue cheese. It had a great smell but the taste is...ehh. For 55 dollar 1/8 I expected a little better. Good security out front, friendly staff. 4 stars, could be 5 if they were more about the patient. |

This place is by far one of my favorite places to go to. Not only do they offer their menu daily, they also make sure I get the medicine I need without being rushed. I'll start off with my reasoning of my 5 stars. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I first came to this place, they gave me a superb tour of the display case and answered all of my questions. The only time I notice them rushing a bit is when there is a really long line. This is understandable as there are other patients who need medicine just as much as I, and I happily oblige to speed my purchase up a bit. They assured me that they will be expanding soon, to meet the growing demand, so the lines won't be so bad. Their prices range from $30/eighth to $60/eighth depending on their quality and/or price they get it for. They also offer free 1.5g baggies for low income people like myself. Although I've been hearing from alot of people their price is too high, this place is actually one of the most affordable. With the excess money they receive, they offer free acupuncture and free chiropractics to any patient in need. I believe these community based services are vital for many people like myself who also suffers from a lower back injury from a recent car accident. |

The best way to describe this dispensary: faceless! They're all about get in, get your meds and get out! The waiting line is about 10 feet from the counter so you can't even browse over the medicine to get a better idea and thus speeding up the process because at one point, it literally felt like I was at the DMV: slow moving line with inept bud tenders who couldn't care less how far you've came and if you aren't purchasing bulk amounts they act as if you're wasting their time. |

I can appreciate a lot of the heavy lifting Harboside has done on behalf of patients all over. However, this is big business! Don't feed the beast. Join a small collective or start one of your own! |

if the club has only been open 2 months, how can people speak to the quality of flowers the clones produce (thats not enough time to even let them flower). I went to harborside and it was kick ass. People were friendly. I was informed that I had 30 minutes at the counter so the being rushed part was not true also. They had three rows of buds and about 50 strains total, so their selection was awesome. |

If you like indica this is your place. I have been there 4 times and not bought anything. They never had even ONE sativa strain, smoke or concentrate. They want to talk you into their hybrids. |

This club is great, it has brought the customer service from the Oakland Harborside to San Jose, but the place is about 1/3 of the size from the Oakland one. This club has good quality if you know how to distinguish the good stuff (I try to make my own judgement instead of the budtender recommendations). The only downfall here are the prices. The prices are high, plus there is tax. This is a huge turn off, which is why I will look for another club in San Jose. There are so many clubs that prices have to be competitive, and I am sure I will find one. |

I’d have to say Harborside Health Center is way overrated. When you walk into this place they make you out to feel like a criminal with their metal detectors and 3 security guards. You must notify security to use the restroom? What’s up with that? Did I just commit a crime? I mean the atmosphere is very professional and all, but it’s just too much. When their staff gives you a tour of their facility they speak so fast as if they want to get it over with already. They have ok buds and yes they test their THC content but the prices are outrageous. With so many nice clubs now in San Jose popping up left and right, why would you want to over pay for the same meds you can get somewhere else at a lower price? |

It looks like things have really started to improve at Harborside in San Jose. As of my last visit, they had at least 12 strains of flowers, half a dozen or more concentrates, and a galaxy if edibles to choose from. Their clone selection is getting better every time I go, and the lab results are confirming this is the place for the best medication in the south bay! |

High prices and little selection, most of which is not good quality. They have really gone down hill. The clones are never what they are labeled as. I have gotten many bogus strains that don't produce anything worth smoking. If it says they have some great famous strain, don't believe it's the real deal. |

This is a new branch of Harborside Health Club in Oakland. The SJ branch of HHC is in a very small unit. HHC in Oakland is a large, very good collective with a wide selection of medicines of different types. I guess that they are being very cautious with this new branch, because the selection is a fraction of the Oakland branch. I usually only go to the SJ branch of HHC on Sundays. |

The place looks great. Everyone is really friendly and well informed, extensive selection of cannabis products also. |

Finally finally finally! Harborside has come to San Jose. I used to drive all the way to Oakland to get the best clones and selection in quality strains. Now I can spend the money I save on gas on some more buds or a couple clones. When I visited the new club I was pleased to see what basically looked like a copy of the Oakland Harborside. |

No waiting, and clones! The product so far has been good. They don't push the garbage. They seem honest - if they say it's good, it has been. Alot of places go by how much they pay for product, not quality. This place runs so higher price, higher quality - lower price, lower quality. The way it should be. Thank You. |

Good place, with good parking. Non-commercial, industrial type area. Very nice employees, all 5 dispensaries I've visited have extra nice employees. Attractive décor. Good medicine and informative clerks. I did notice however, that shelf price is about the same as other clubs plus 9+% sales tax, whereas at others the sales tax is included. This makes the medicine almost 10% more expensive. Not good. However, convenience counts for a lot, and this place is much closer for me. |
