I was really impressed by this place. I love the fact that it is a co-op and I can provide a service to other members and get credit for my medicine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A decent selection of products, edibles and medibles. I would have given it 5 stars if the pricing was a bit lower. It is my belief that medicine should not cost more than $50-55 an eight and that there should be more options in the $40 range.

They give you a free joint on your first visit and it's of some super dank, too. Everyone is nice there, they have a great selection and some really good deals. Without a doubt the best club in the South Bay.

This is a great club. Good selection of herbs, edibles and the such. Prices are cool and the staff is friendly. I have been to a lot of clubs and this one is A+.

Try the Cherry Pie, it's wicked.

Visited SBHC for the first time a couple of months ago, and have happily been going back ever since. Friendly staff, great selection and top grade products. I'd like to describe this place as what a medical dispensary should be: clean, professional, active, involved, and knowledgeable with great deals to match! I would highly recommend the Snowcap and Cannabis Pills! However, the Jack Herer is my personal favorite. Couldn't recommend a club more. Convenience!

South Bay Healing Center is the friendliest and most helpful cannabis club I've been to. Mark, Chris, and all the guys are great employees and give the club a relaxing vibe! The prices are great and the product is always excellent quality! A++

I am posting in response to the complaint regarding caregivers. SBHC welcomes caregivers as defined and protected within our state legislature. At SBHC, we are very strict with the caregiver/patient relationship. A primary caregiver is defined as someone who has provided care for the patient before, or at the time that the patient obtains a medical marijuana recommendation, and who provides care outside of picking up the patient's medical cannabis. The court case People v. Mentch (2008) confirmed the legal caregiver/patient relationship. It is important that all collectives/dispensaries recognize the definition of a caregiver to ensure that the laws which protect us are upheld. It is our highest concern to help all patients within the protections of our state.

That being said, we do have a handful of primary caregivers who are members of the collective. We are proud to assist those patients who need medicine and are unable to visit the collective on their own. I hope that no one suffered as a result of this inconvenience. Thank you.

I was very impressed today, the facilities seem to have improvements every time I pick up my medicine. Today, I noticed a selection of healthy clones. The staff is always super friendly, I feel comfortable picking up my medicine at this place. I also like the amazing tropical rainforest photography throughout the shop, giving the place a serene atmosphere. It's so convenient that this spot has moved into my neighborhood because as a young female, I do have concerns about safety. I picked up cannapills today and am excited to try the half dose to cure my anxiety. I will let you guys know how they worked for me. Thanks guys. You will be seeing more of me soon. :)

I was ecstatic to find a dispensary so near to my home, and in fact have been there several times now.

The staff is courteous and good-natured, and always willing to work with patients to everyone's satisfaction. My Caregiver and I did run across a few hiccups in regards to Caregiver status at this particular establishment, so if you have a CG, be sure to ask for a meeting with the Director, to ensure everyone's on the same page and in agreement.

That onerous task complete, I have to give kudos to SBHC for their variety in products. As they're relatively new, they're still expanding their strain board, but some of my favourites have been Alaskan ThunderFunk(Or the other word, yes we all know it.), Cherry Pie, and a strain called Wine.

Their prices are amply fair, with all but one or two strains capped at $55 an 1/8. They also have grams as low as $10, so one can easily select a variety of things to try and not break the bank.

But what they may lack in number of strains they more than make up for in their ediblesl They do 2 varying strength canni-pill variety, a cornucopia of nummies to eat and drink, as well as doobs, hashes, kiefs, and oils.

SBHC's location in West San Jose is fantastic. I wish that I could give it more than 3 stars, but I was very taken aback by my Caregiver hiccup and the resulting stress it's caused. That is why I said above - please take the time to meet with the Director in the beginning, to everyone can be in complete agreement and understanding about the nature of a caregiver. But for those of you whom this doesn't affect, please do make time to visit this collective - you shan't be disappointed.

I have nothing but positive things to say about SBHC. From the time I became a member of the collective it has been amazing and educational. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I do not feel scared or ashamed going to get my medicine. They have a great selection and not to mention the prices are amazing! They have affordable prices and great concontrates and drinks, and buds! I am so happy they opened in my area. They are walking distance from my house and easy to get to from the freeway 280. I frequent many places to buy my meds and this is on the top of my list!

I have gone to this location a few times now - mainly due to one of my patients whom lives on that side of town, since I am a Caregiver to her.

They do not seem to care to much for the Caregiver Certificates from MediCann - 2 out of the 4 times I've been there they have questioned me and twice I have been refused service. The reason given is, he does not feel the patient needs a Caretaker?! I was under the impression that the MD at MediCann makes that decision, not a Cannabis Collective owner.

Sad thing is, this only affects the patient, not me. Point being, you are not doing the patient any favors by refusing service to their Caretakers, therefore, you are not there for the patient.

I go to other locations in the Bay Area, depending on where the patient is located, and I go for my patients, and I never have any issues at any other location. I only have issues with this South Bay Healing Center location. :(
